These terms apply to all orders, all purchases and all sales, whether made through the website, by telephone or otherwise. The Terms and Conditions is a legally binding agreement made by and between BGASC, Inc. ("BGASC," "our," "we" or "us"), and you, personally and, if applicable, on behalf of the entity for whom you are using the Website ("you" or "your"). The Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Website and the products and services we offer on the Website, including making purchases from BGASC, making sales to BGASC, and placing orders with BGASC. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY TO ALL ORDERS, PURCHASES, AND SALES, WHETHER MADE VIA THE WEBSITE, BY TELEPHONE, OR OTHERWISE. YOU MUST READ AND ACCEPT ALL OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER TO PURCHASE AND/OR TO SELL WITH BGASC. BGASC STRONGLY ENCOURAGES YOU TO PRINT A COPY FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. We may request that you submit certain personally identifiable information about yourself, including, but not limited to your first and last name, company, email address, telephone number, mailing address, billing address, shipping address, country of residence, credit card type, credit card number, credit card expiration date, and credit card security code.
Due to high levels of credit card fraud, BGASC reserves the right to deny or cancel any order that does not clear/meet our credit card or other internal security requirements. Furthermore, any order that is deemed fraudulent or of suspicious origin will be reported to authorities and the responsible individual(s) may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
For Credit Purchases our internal security department may request further information to verify your charge prior to the order being processed and shipped. This information may include a faxed copy of the credit card used at the time of purchase and/or a valid driver's license. In addition, we may request a Utility Bill or bank/credit card statement to validate the billing address associated with the charge. If this information is requested by BGASC and the customer refuses toprovide documentation, BGASC reserves the right to cancel the order and all applicable cancellation and market loss fees (#6 below) will apply.
If the customer delays providing any documentation requested, your order will be delayed past the estimated processing and shipping time listed on each individual product. If the customer refuses to provide the documentation requested or fails to cooperate with the verification process, the customer will have the ability to send a bank wire transfer within 24 business hours for the order. The bank wire must be initiated within 24 business hours after receiving the approval/email from BGASC. The prices will not be adjusted due to the processing fees associated with the credit card charge. If the customer refuses to send the bank wire, the order will be cancelled and the applicable cancellation fees will apply. In addition, our security department performs routine calls to credit card companies to verify charges. Most of the time, aconference call is not required to complete the verification. If a conference call is required to verify the charge, the customer must cooperate until the verification process is complete. If the customer refuses to verify the charge on a conference call, the customer then has the option to send a bank wire for the purchase. If the charge is not verified and the bank wire payment not sent, the order will be cancelled and all applicable cancellation fees applied.

Our Story

Our bullion and coin collecting roots began in 1965 in a small, seaside grocery store in Northern California.
Martin, one of BGASC's 3 founders, as a young boy would visit his Uncle Walter and Aunt Mary in the summer and help them stock the food shelves as they worked 7 days a week running their tiny store in an isolated beach community. Uncle Walter taught Martin to look at almost every coin crossing the counter to find rare items that he could add to his collection. Then in 1967, shortly after silver circulating coinage ceased being minted, Uncle Walter realized that a tremendous amount of silver dimes, quarters, and fifty cent pieces still crossed his counter as customers paid. During that and subsequent summer visits, Martin noticed his uncle would take any silver change that customers paid with and throw it in a box to save. In addition, Aunt Mary would do the banking every week and exchanged with the teller hundreds of dollars in rolled coins for loose bags of coins from the bank. Then she, Uncle Walter, Martin and his brother would dump the coins onto the kitchen table at night after the store had closed and go through them one by one looking forsilver coins or collectible items. In those days buffalo nickels were still widely circulated and sometimes Indian head pennies could also be found. Martin's uncle also bought items from coin dealers, particularly error coins, and developed a large collection as well as a massive amount of "junk silver."
This spurred Martin's interest in coins and soon he was collecting as well. Many, many years later, Martin inherited Uncle Walter and Aunt Mary's coin collection. The weight of the "junk silver" was tremendous and was sold long before silver's recent appreciation. From Martin and his uncle’s collection, he developed relationships with other collectors and became an active trader.
BGASC.com is a natural outgrowth of this numismatic and bullion experience. Ready to expand to trading online, Martin partnered with former colleagues and long time associates Victoria and Thomas to form BGASC (BuyGold And Silver Coins).
Victoria's appreciation for coinage also began at a young age when her grandfather would return home from his many travels with gifts from the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Proof Sets and pocket change from around the world. Born with a strong attraction to the artful and uncommon, she naturally gravitated toward the "different looking" foreign currency and uncut sheets of $2 Bills, and hid these sentimental treasures away for safe keeping. Little did she know that many years later her e-commerce & web marketing expertise would lead her back around to minted metals. Still it comes as no surprise that unique items such as the beautiful 2009 Ultra High Relief Gold Double Eagle, mint error coins, and masterfully engraved modern one-of-a-kind Hobo Nickels and Carved Coins continue to fascinate and inspire her.
Thomas' journey to BGASC started well over a decade ago, working for Martin handling inventory and other operational duties. Since then he has held many positions with other companies but working almost exclusively in the world of online retail. When he was asked by Martin to help start BGASC it was like coming back home. As a Misesian (follower of Ludwig von Mises school of economic thought) and lifelong student of economics, Thomas has always been fascinated by the concepts of money and exchange. Naturally, he has been following the gold and silver markets for years as a matter of personal interest, but since joining the BGASC team, he's had the opportunity to expand his interests from industrial consumption and bullion into the numismatic collectibles.
Backed by a skilled and dedicated team, we strive to provide our customers with an exceptionally high level of service and a precious metals buying experience like no other. Thank you for your business.
